Nia Sharma recalled a casting meeting for a small role in Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, where she was told she looked “so hot” for the role.
Nia Sharma is hands down one of the hottest actresses in the business. In 2016 and 2017, she ranked third and second on the list of 50 Hottest Asian Women. To expand her career, Nia has appeared in music videos and web series and continues to make her mark on social media with her stunning images. But unfortunately, her experience in Bollywood was not a pleasant one. She recalled having a recent casting meeting for a small role in Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, which she was told she looked “so hot” for the role. When asked if she had ever met a Bollywood director or producer who underestimated her skills because she came from the television industry, Nia said to Siddharth Kannan: “No, but Manikarnika ke liye ek meets thi itna sa role ke liye (there was a meeting). for a small part in Manikarnika). Nia was recently seen doing her latest dance number Do Ghoont, a remake of the iconic number Do Ghoont Mujhe Bhi from the 1973 film Jheel Ke Us Couple. The original track was featured on veteran star Mumtaz. It was sung by Lata Mangeshkar and the music director was R.D. Burman.
The revised version is choreographed by Jayshree Kelkar of the famous Ganesh Acharya Productions and the music video plays against a dazzling background with Nia taking center stage with her energetic dance moves.
